Cardinal Pair is a watercolor paintings completed in the December 2018.  This giclee (archival) print was produced from the original watercolor and has a gorgeous surface which looks exactly like the original painting.

Printed on 100% cotton rag paper (5x7” image on 6x8” paper). Limited edition of 150 prints. Each print is hand signed, titled, and numbered by the artist. A certificate is included which verifies the print number and describes the nature of the giclee process. 

About the process:  Giclee, comes from the French word la giclée meaning 'that which is sprayed'. In this process pigment is sprayed onto 100% rag paper by micro nozzles one-millionth the diameter of a strand of hair. There is no "dot pattern" as with traditional printing methods. Giclee prints are produced by the highest quality Inkjet printers with superior resolution, using archival inks, on archival paper, in a greater range of colors than traditional prints. The result is an image that looks and feels like the original with superb longevity.
